Arrested and rushed to the UCLA Medical Center for psychiatric evaluations, Kanye West put up no fight and willingly accepted that he is not mentally stable. This came just hours after the rapper went on a 20-minute rant attacking everyone from Jay-Z, Mark Zuckerberg, Hillary Clinton to the Media for what he perceived he’d been silenced too long to say, while voicing his support for recently elected US President Donald Trump.
“What do you really believe?” he asked the crowd repeatedly.
“I am putting my career, my life, my public well-standing at risk when I talk to y’all like this, I’ve been sitting here to give y’all my truth even at the risk of my own life. Even at the risk of my own success, my own career. I’ve been sitting here to give y’all the truth” Mr. West said before abruptly ending the show last Saturday night in Sacramento, California.
Mr. West then informed his team and crew that his “Saint Pablo tour” is cancelled. The now cancelled tour, which was expected to go until the end of this year has left many Kanye fans deeply disappointed although the rapper has promised to fully refund ticket holders.
Friends and family members have appealed to the public for prayers in what looks like a dangerous case of mental illness for the rapper. American tabloid outlet TMZ reported earlier in the week of a rift between the rapper and his famous wife, Kim Kardashian West starting after the celebrity wife was reportedly robbed in Paris.
Following the news of his hospitalization, Mrs. West was photographed returning to Los Angeles to be with her husband, cancelling appearances in New York.
